Dystopian Affection

This story was inspired by a dream I had in February, 2003, when I was barely sixteen and predates my writing “career” by several weeks.

I began writing it in 2011 and finished some time in 2012.

It is a romantic tragedy about a teenaged couple living in a dystopian, futuristic neo-nazi version of New Orleans.

I guess, on the subconscious level I inspired myself to write other stories, especially my Post Modern stories.

While I was inspired to write this from a dream I had, I had different political views than I do now and it was my reaction to The Tea Party, whom I at the time thought was a fascist entity and politicians like Rick Santorum, whom I also consider a fascist.

I was more liberal in those days than I am now.

This story centers around two teenaged lovers, Josiah Adler and Kaela Blum.

I know the people who did read this story when it was available enjoyed it.  However, there is a great deal of sexual sin in this story and The Good Lord started to withold blessings from my life for making it public.  When I asked Him why my blessings were being witheld, He told me because of the fornication and cohabitation that took place in here and similar stories.  I should have known better not to deliberately disobey God, but I took it down in order to make it right.  My walk with God is more important to me than what my readers think of me, believe it or not…Sorry not sorry.
