Since July of 2018, I have been posting pictures to Facebook and Instagram of Christmas-y or at least Wintry images during that said month. Most of those pictures had a short story attached of which I wrote while meditating on them. I firmly believe in the statement: “A picture is worth a thousand words!”

Let me just say that all of these stories may seem very cute and sweet. However, there is a tremendously Greater Love and it is available to all who surrender to it. The best part is that it does not have the stringent prerequisites the carnal love seems to have placed upon it. This Greater Love is what is supposed to be celebrated most during the Christmas Season but somehow I seem to have gotten away from that and have come to associate Christmas with romance. I guess my reason why I post so many love stories is that I associate the winter time with romance. Secondly and more importantly, I don’t need to isolate Jesus Christ and what He did for me to just Christmas. I try to celebrate Him every day that His Father sends me! Furthermore, many Biblical scholars will argue that Jesus Christ wasn’t even born during the winter time!
