I know that I have not been as active on this blog as I ought to be. So, I extend my sincerest apologies to you, the reader.
The reason for my activity as of late is that, well, my prayers and the prayers of many others have been answered!
You see I am loved by and in love with a young lady who not only meets but exceeds my standards!
We are set to be married on October 28, 2022.
For those who wish to know the details of the relationship, I will say that I knew this young lady, Hollie Boartfield, had existed since December 5, 2019, because I had seen her profile on a few dating apps.
I thought and still think she was/is very beautiful, inside and out. She has a very good heart, and, in my eyes, she is a perfect solid ten! We also get along great.
Truth be told, I thought she would be too good for me!
However, after several failed relationship attempts and ghostings, some done by me and some done by the other parties, I finally decided to message Hollie in early February of 2022, shortly before Valentine’s Day.
I told her she was cute, to which she almost instantly replied that I was handsome.
After a few exchanges of messages via Plenty of Fish, I gave her my phone number and she texted me within a few hours of me sending it.
I would text her for the next few months, but I didn’t get consistent replies, so I assumed she was ignoring me, which made me put her in the friend zone for a while.
However, on May 18, 2022, I traveled through her town, and could not stop thinking about her. I began to want her, terribly.
So, a few days later on May 21, 2022, I sent her a message and laid it all on the table, telling her that I like her a lot and that if only she could reply to my texts consistently, I would want to be with her.
She eventually explained that my texts were sent to her phone’s spam folder for whatever reason.
So we began to consistently talk on that day and on May 23, 2022, I asked her out to which she happily agreed!
Then on May 31, 2022, Hollie told me those three little words and I instantly said them back to her adding that I thank God for her. Amazingly, this is just like in my “Grocer and Writer” stories, when Samantha Abbott told Garth Cooper that she loved him also a week and a day after getting into a relationship.
Since we both get along so well, both exceed each others’ standards both want the same thing, relationship-wise, and are both very much attracted to each other physically, I proposed to her on June 30, 2022, which, yes, is the eighth anniversary of me beginning my “Grocer and Writer” stories!
I know this fact will make many people smile!
Honestly, though, I feel as if I am living out the lives of many of the characters in these stories that I write!
And not only that, Hollie reminds me of many of the characters in the stories I write as well!
Speaking of my stories, there are two that I am working on at the moment, one of them is dedicated to me and Hollie, and the other is another Post Modern story series, that first came to me in two dreams, one that I had in the Fall of 2020 and the other in early 2022.
If you, the reader, are a Christian, I beseech you to pray for me and Hollie and our relationship, that God continues to bless us and that she and I remain committed and loving to each other.
Yes, I do plan to continue creating content for this blog, when time permits, and I believe that Hollie will inspire me to write many more beautiful creations and modify some of my current work for the better!
Please keep following this blog for more updates and hopefully I will be posting new content shortly.
Thank you for taking the time to read and may God richly bless you!
I love you baby. Can’t wait to marry you.
