Pay Day Part One-The New Generation Gap

Friday, November 2, 2012.

Zachary woke up, alone.

Tiffany had gone to stay with Mrs. Judith Brezinski so that they would not be tempted to a foul God’s commands. They both knew that this was for the best, even though they missed each other terribly.

After taking everything in, Zachary checked his bank account and saw that the $1,024 he received each month from SSDI was deposited.

With that, he showered, shaved, and brushed his teeth. Afterward, he dressed, then left his apartment locking the door behind him.

He started his Cobalt and drove to the bank where he had a $206 money order printed out for his rent payment. Immediately he filled it out, then left the bank. He also withdrew some cash so Tiffany could buy some second-hand clothing when he picked her up to go thrifting.

Zachary drove straight to the apartment complex office and slipped the money order in the mail slot.

He then drove to the mall and to the AT&T store where he added funds to his Go Phone account and also purchased a Samsung A187 Quick Messaging phone on clearance and a $25 plan for Tiffany, and then had it activated.

After completing his transactions, he drove to the electric cooperative office, then the waterworks, and paid his respective monthly bills.

Finally, Zack called Mrs. Judith to which she answered

“Hello?”

“Hey, Mrs. Judy, this is Zack. May I talk to Tiffany?”

“Sure thing, young man. She just finished her breakfast.”

Mrs. Judith then handed her phone to Tiffany as she said, “Your beau wants to talk to you.”

Tiffany answered the phone, “Hey bae.”

“Hey. I purchased you a phone along with a plan and I would be honored to take you thrifting so you can have some nice clothes.”

“Oh, thank you, Zack! That is so sweet of you.”

“It’s the least I could do.”

“When will you be coming over?”

“I’m on my way now.”

“Okay, I’ll get ready now so I don’t take too long.”

“Don’t rush yourself though, sweetheart.”

“Are you driving right now?”

“Yes.”

“Then please focus on driving so you don’t get hurt.”

“All right, will do.”

“I love you, bae.”

“I love you too, sweetheart, and I’ll be there in a few minutes.”

Zachary and Tiffany hung up.

Zachary drove carefully to Mrs. Judith’s house where Tiffany was getting ready.

He parked in the driveway then walked to the door and rang the bell.

Mrs. Judith answered, “Tiffany is still getting ready, but you can make yourself at home.”

“Thank you,” Zachary replied as he sat down on the couch.

Mrs. Judith was flipping between cable news channels on her television set. Zachary watched with her.

She eventually spoke, “Tiffany is crazy about you, Zack. So I hope you have only good intentions with her.”

“Yes, ma’am I definitely do. I had been petitioning The Good Lord to send me someone to love for quite some time and I am immensely thankful to Him that He sent Tiffany my way. I love her so much!”

“I don’t mind taking her in, because she helps me around the house, plus my doing so is preventing you and her from sinning. It is very admirable that you don’t want to defile your relationship with her. Most people your age would even consider the such.”

“Well, I am a God-fearing man. And I fear Him enough to consider that if we don’t honor Him with our relationship, He will not bless our relationship therefore I could lose her. I don’t ever want that to happen!”

“If you feel that way, then by all means get to know her more, but I think she is wife material and I know that you are husband material as well.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Judy!”

“Of course, young man.”

They went back to watching cable news channels until Tiffany stepped out of the bathroom.

She embraced Zachary with strong affections.

“As always, you’re so beautiful, sweetheart.”

“Thanks bae. You make me feel special.”

Zachary reached into his shopping bag and handed it as he said, “This is your new phone. It was the nicest one I could afford at the moment, especially since I want to buy you other gifts.”

“It’s cute, Zack. Thank you!”

“You get two hundred fifty voice minutes and unlimited texting, each month, so you can keep in touch with me and others, but only give your number to those whom you trust.”

Tiffany placed the phone in her jean pocket, then grabbed her messenger bag and said, “Well, I definitely need some clothes and you said there’s a thrift store a few towns over, right.”

“Yes. Each article of clothing is only twenty-five cents.”

“Awesome.”

“That should purchase you a whole new wardrobe.”

“Then let’s go. I’ve been wearing the same clothes since Tuesday.”

“Y’all be careful and be good,” Mrs. Judith said.

With that, Zachary and Tiffany walked out the front door and to the Cobalt, where Zachary opened the passenger door for Tiffany. She kissed him, then kissed him again, saying, “The first kiss is because I missed you all night and I didn’t want to kiss you in front of Mrs. Judy. The second kiss is because you’re such a gentleman, Zack!”

“I love you, sweetheart!” Zachary said as he blushed.

“I love you too, bae!” Tiffany replied while smiling from ear to ear.

Zachary then entered on the driver’s side started his engine then prayed, “Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Tiffany into my life and I thank you for blessing me and meeting my needs, even my wants. Please grant us safe travels and allow Tiffany to find some nice clothes as we go thrifting today. Please protect us from all who wish to do harm and draw us closer to You and each other. In Jesus’ Name, I make these prayers, Amen and thank You, Lord.”

Zachary backed out of Mrs. Judith’s driveway, then onto the highway as they headed northeast.

“I know the drive takes a while, sweetheart, but I think it will be worth it.”

“That’s fine bae it’s more than fine. It means we get to spend more time together,” Tiffany said as she held Zachary’s hand.

“I missed not being able to cuddle with you last night.”

“I missed you too, but Mrs. Judy was nice and she had nothing but good things to say about you.”

Zachary blushed.

“I can see what she means, though. I think it’s obvious to everyone around you, Zack!” Tiffany continued.

“Thank you, sweetheart. I know I want you by my side forever, and if that means us staying under different roofs in order to have God’s blessing, then I am willing to do just that.”

“I know it will be hard, bae. Because I don’t like being apart from you.”

“I don’t like being apart from you either, but let’s look at it as offering our members as a living sacrifice. After all, Jesus Christ died for us so we should live for Him.”

“I know, bae. And God tells me that because we want to honor Him, He will honor us.”

“I am ever thankful that He sent you into my life Tiffany.”

“I am too. When I bumped into you at the mall, I was so embarrassed because I am a big girl and I knocked you down.”

“Yes, the fall hurt, but when I looked up at you and saw your beautiful face, the pain ceased that very moment.”

“I was expecting you to sue me.”

“Never. Anyway, I wouldn’t have had a case. My back was already damaged.”

“I guess it’s because my parents are always so obsessed with money.”

“Even if you knocked me down intentionally, I wouldn’t be offended.”

“Why, so I could sit on you?”

Zachary blushed and nodded.

Tiffany giggled.

Zachary then asked, “What part of my body would you sit on?”

Tiffany giggled even more and smirked as she replied, “Hmmm, let me think,” Tiffany paused for a second, then continued, “I know: I would sit on that cute baby face of yours! It would be underneath my big butt and I would totally own you.”

Zachary then asked with passion, “And what would you wear whilst sitting upon my baby face?”

Tiffany’s smirk grew even more deviant as she said, “Those sexy panties you bought me at the Dollar General! Of course, I would only wear them at first, just to tease you, but then I would pull them down and make you could use your tongue on me!”

“Oh, sweetheart, my tongue would go for miles upon miles inside your most intimate parts until you flood my face!”

“Ooo, bae, tell me more!” Tiffany said, filled with excitement and lust.

“Very well: I would…”

A truck suddenly pulled out in front of Zachary and Tiffany. Zachary sounded his horn and slammed on his brakes, missing the truck by just a few short feet.

“Thank you, Lord. That was too close for comfort!”

“I feel very convicted about what we were just talking about, Zack.”

“Me as well, Tiffany.”

“Thank God we weren’t hurt.”

“Speaking of God, we need to pray: Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive us of the sinful conversation we just had, and please allow, equip and compel us to do better. Furthermore, Lord, we thank you for sparing us a tremendous deal of harm just now. Please continue to grant us safe travels and keep us together forever. In Jesus’ Name, we petition you, Amen!”

“Yes, Lord, please forgive me for my dirty talk. I love Zack and I am very attracted to him, but help me to not give in to these lusts until I am married to him. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen!”

“Just so you know, sweetheart, God has now forgiven you of your sins and my sins. There is no need to confess to a priest or anything like that. Just humbly admit to God what you did and ask Him to help you do better henceforth.”

“Yes. I do feel as if a huge weight that I had been carrying all my life has been taken off of me.”

They continued driving in peaceful silence and then arrived at the thrift store.

Zachary parked his Cobalt then exited the driver’s side and walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for Tiffany.

She embraced him and then kissed him. Soon their tongues were wrestling until an uptight motorist passing by blew his horn at them.

Subsequently, Zachary and Tiffany walked into the thrift store and began to browse around.

Tiffany made a beeline for the plus-sized women’s section and began to grab several tee shirts, blouses, shorts, dress pants, yoga pants, and skirts.

Zachary went to the electronics section and saw a high spec desktop computer that was only a few years old but selling for only $10. Immediately he purchased it.

Tiffany continued shopping for clothes until she had every article in her size that she liked.

They then checked out and were handed a large bag with all the clothing.

Zachary placed all their purchases in his trunk, then opened the passenger door for Tiffany, to which she pelted his face with many loving kisses. They embraced for just a moment, then Zachary walked to the driver’s side and entered.

“Thank you bae for buying me all those clothes and of course, the phone.”

“There’s some more I plan to purchase you, especially since I was able to get a decent computer to write with for cheap. I will get you whatever art supplies your heart desires.”

“You’re so sweet, Zack and I love you!”

“I love you too and I want you by my side for life.”

“I want that too, bae!”

With that, Zachary put his car in gear, then prayed, “Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for all that You have just blessed us with and we thank You for placing us together and ask that You keep us together. Please grant us a safe trip to wherever else we may go and draw us closer to You. In Jesus’ Name, we make these prayers, Amen.”

Tiffany asked, “Where else did you want to go?”

“I was going to Target to buy a backpack so I can carry some of my stuff with me. I saw your messenger bag and realized that I should have something like that as well.”

“If it’s all right, can you drop me off at Mrs. Judy’s? I would like to change my clothes.”

“Of course sweetheart. And later this evening, if you want, I can take you to dinner and buy you some art supplies.”

“I would really like that, bae. I’m so thankful that God put us together.”

“Me as well, sweetheart.”

Zachary and Tiffany held hands until they arrived at Mrs. Judith’s house.

Then Zachary parked his Cobalt in the driveway, exited the driver’s side, and opened the passenger door for Tiffany, to which she passionately kissed him. He then opened the trunk and brought the bag with Tiffany’s clothes to the door.

Tiffany rang the doorbell and Mrs. Judith greeted them.

“Zack bought me a whole bunch of clothes,” Tiffany said, then continued, “Can you help me store them?”

“Of course, Tiffany,” She then looked at Zachary and said, “That was very sweet of you, Zack.”

“It was the least I could do, after all, I am in love with her!” Zachary said with confidence.

“And I am in love with him.”

“I have to run a few more errands, sweetheart, but later this evening, I will take you out for dinner and purchase you some art supplies.”

“I can’t wait, bae!”

Zachary and Tiffany walked to the Cobalt, where they embraced and shared a few sweet kisses and those three words.

Zachary then entered the driver’s side and drove to complete his errands…
